Uses Atopica Capsule is a veterinary use only medication that contains cyclosporine as the active ingredient. This medication is a non-steroidal immunosuppressant indicated for the treatment of atopic dermatitis in dogs 6 months of age and older. Cautions Atopica Capsule is contraindicated for use in dogs with a history of malignancy, or hypersensitivity to cyclosporine. Keep out of reach of children. How to use For oral use in dogs only. Atopica should be given at least one hour before or two hours after feeding. Possible side effects Vomiting, soft stool, diarrhea are some of the possible side effects. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your veterinarian promptly. Missed dose If you miss giving a dose, give it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose.
